Sutton’s Plumbing has been providing expert plumbing solutions since 1984. Yes. We are fully licensed and insured, and every installation and repair we perform is completed to code. That protection is there for your peace of mind as much as ours — you should never have to wonder who is responsible if something goes wrong on your property.
We do. You’ll get clear pricing before the first line is drawn, so there are no surprises once work begins. Request your free estimate or call us to get started.
Yes. Alongside residential service, we’re equipped for large-scale commercial and industrial projects. High-traffic facilities have very different demands than a single-family home, and we plan our work to minimize downtime and keep your operation running while repairs or upgrades are underway.
Water Heaters & Tankless Systems
It depends on the age of the unit and what’s failing. Repair usually makes sense for a bad thermostat, heating element, or thermocouple on a newer tank. Replacement is typically the better investment when you see:
- A tank that’s 8–12 years old or older
- Rust-colored or metallic-smelling hot water
- Popping or rumbling sounds from sediment buildup
- Water pooling at the base of the tank
- Hot water that runs out much faster than it used to
We’ll diagnose the actual cause and give you an honest recommendation rather than pushing a replacement you don’t need.
For many households, yes. Tankless units heat water on demand, so you’re not paying to keep a full tank hot around the clock, and you won’t run out of hot water mid-shower. They also take up far less space and generally last longer than a standard tank.
The trade-offs are a higher up-front cost and the need for periodic descaling — especially with the hard water common in our area. We’ll walk you through the numbers for your specific home so you can decide with real information in hand.
A straightforward tank-for-tank swap is usually a same-day job completed in a few hours. Converting from a tank to a tankless system takes longer, since it often involves gas line sizing, new venting, and updated water connections. We’ll give you a realistic time window before we begin.
Water Lines, Gas Lines & Fixtures
Common warning signs include a water bill that climbs without any change in usage, a drop in water pressure, damp or discolored spots on walls, ceilings, or flooring, the sound of running water when everything is off, and unexplained soft or soggy areas in the yard.
Leaks rarely fix themselves and almost always get more expensive the longer they run. If you’re seeing any of these, it’s worth having us take a look.
Yes. We install new gas lines, extend existing runs, and repair damaged or aging lines for ranges, dryers, water heaters, pool heaters, outdoor kitchens, fire features, and standby generators. Every line is properly sized, pressure tested, and left code-compliant before we consider the job finished.
Treat it as an emergency. Leave the building right away. Don’t flip light switches, use appliances, or light anything, and don’t use your phone until you’re safely outside. From a safe distance, call your gas utility’s emergency line or 911. Once the leak has been shut off and the area is cleared, call us and we’ll handle the repair.
They can make a real difference. Modern faucets, showerheads, and valves are engineered to use noticeably less water while maintaining pressure, and a properly installed fixture won’t quietly drip away gallons the way a worn one does. We help you choose units that pair durability with the look you want, then install them precisely so they perform as designed.
Not at all. We take on single faucet swaps and shut-off valve replacements with the same care we bring to full septic system designs. Small repairs are often how long client relationships start, and we’d rather earn your trust on a minor job than miss the chance to help.
Sewer, Drain & Septic
We feed a high-definition camera through your sewer or drain line to see exactly what’s happening inside — blockages, cracks, separated joints, bellied pipe, or tree root intrusion — without digging up your yard to find it.
It’s worth doing if you’re dealing with repeat backups, multiple slow drains, or recurring odors, if you have mature trees near the sewer line, or if you’re buying a property and want to know the condition of the line before you close. Pinpointing the problem means we can make a targeted repair instead of an expensive guess.
Yes — we handle the entire process, from evaluating the site and sizing the system for your actual load requirements through installation. Proper design is what determines whether a septic system lasts for decades or fails early, and it’s also what protects the soil and groundwater around it. This is one area where cutting corners is never worth it.
As a general rule, plan on an inspection and pumping every three to five years, though the right interval depends on tank size, household size, and how heavily the system is used. Warning signs that shouldn’t wait include slow drains throughout the house, gurgling pipes, odors near the tank or field, and unusually lush or spongy grass over the leach field.
A clog that keeps coming back usually isn’t really a clog — it’s a symptom. Grease and soap buildup, root intrusion, sagging or cracked pipe, and improper slope all cause repeat blockages that a plunger or store-bought chemical won’t solve. A camera inspection tells us which one you’re dealing with so the fix actually holds.
Scheduling & What to Expect
Call or text us at (928) 257-6984, email ahandymanconection@gmail.com, or fill out the form on our contact page. Tell us what you’re seeing and where the property is located, and we’ll get you scheduled.
A few small things help us work faster: clear the area around the fixture, water heater, or access point; know where your main water shut-off is located; and secure any pets. If the issue is intermittent, jot down when it happens and what you were using at the time — that detail often points us straight to the cause.
The root cause, every time. Temporary patches are how a small problem turns into a much larger bill six months later. We diagnose why a system failed, explain what we found in plain language, and repair it so your plumbing stays reliable for years — not weeks.
